About
Jeremy Cowart — Artist, Innovator, Humanitarian Creative
Jeremy Cowart is a world-renowned artist and creative pioneer whose work blends storytelling, technology, and bold compassion. He’s photographed some of the world’s most recognizable names — from Taylor Swift and the Kardashians to President Obama, Emma Stone, and dozens more — while building a career defined by using creativity to help people in profound moments of need.
His fine artwork has been showcased internationally, including a 2022 Phillips auction in London where he was featured alongside Andy Warhol, Annie Leibovitz, Ansel Adams, and Richard Avedon. He is a Gold Clio Award–winning creator for his visual work on Star Trek for Paramount+, and his artistic journey has been spotlighted in a major Netflix documentary, along with appearances across global media.
Jeremy’s 25-minute life story video “I’m Possible” has been seen by millions online, launching a global speaking career and a book deal with HarperCollins — establishing him early on as a creative voice with uncommon reach and impact.
He’s also a 3-time TEDx speaker, an artist listed on Artnet, a published author, and the founder of Help-Portrait, a worldwide volunteer movement that has served hundreds of thousands of people in need across 90+ countries. His humanitarian projects in Haiti, Rwanda, and the U.S. have been featured by CNN and TIME and studied as models for creative impact.
Now, Jeremy is building his most ambitious vision yet: If You’re Breathing (IYB) — a revolutionary approach to modern philanthropy. IYB partners individuals facing extreme hardship with Jeremy Cowart to co-create photographs, drawings, paintings, and AR-enhanced visuals. These artworks become merchandise that directly fund each person’s recovery. It’s not charity… it’s creative empowerment. Each individual is the hero of their own story without even knowing it until the surprise reveal later.
Known for visual innovation, Jeremy has pioneered multi-light LED-wall portrait methods, “Lightographs,” projection-based “Lighttoos,” and futuristic AI-driven backdrop systems now used by major entertainment brands including Amazon, Paramount+, Star Trek, the ACM Awards, the NFL, and more.
His upcoming feature documentary "The Light We Let In" follows his journey living with a brain disease called Friedreich’s Ataxia while building global-scale creative movements.
