This piece was created on Thursday, May 10th 2012 at Catalyst Dallas. Photographer Jeremy Cowart met houseless artist Donald Collins the day before after he saw Donald drawing people. They decided to collaborate and create this piece together the next day.

This piece was only the 2nd time Jeremy tried this process. Inspired by the many portraits of Christ throughout art history, Jeremy thought it would be intriguing to build a portrait of Christ in Photoshop, using the faces of everyday people.
This was Jeremy’s first time-lapse art video created in March, 2011 out of pure boredom and curiosity. The process re-birthed a new fascination for drawing and illustration for Jeremy. He has since created many of these time-lapse art videos.
