I recently found out that a couple good friends were getting married. I didn’t even know at the time that they knew each other! It was a very pleasant surprise. I was so thrilled to hear they were getting married that I said “I want to shoot your wedding.” Granted, I don’t shoot weddings but this was one I wanted to be a part of. I knew it would be beautiful. Below are the results. I edited all of these with the new VSCOFilm 03. If you haven’t checked out these lightroom presets yet, you DEFINITELY need to. They’re so fun to use and really beautiful.
A few details if any of you are curious. These were all shot at the same location and in the same big, giant room. I brought my own 2 backdrops to use for a few of the photos. But everything else was just utilizing what was already in the room…

Beautiful imagery, love the use of the VSCO tools. Lovely work.
Amazing amazing amazing :) You should make another career in wedding photography near 100 other things you are involved and shoot only 2-3 weddings a year each for 100.000$ :)
Can I ask which presets of VSCO you used here and which ones are your favorites? I guess you are using them as a starting point and developing them further according to taste
Jeremy, these look fabulous. What a treat to shoot your friends wedding. Natural, real and beautiful images.
Nice work great tones and use of light!
Very nice job! Beautiful couple and shots. This is my personal Favourite! :) claire_blog1.jpg
Beautiful job, very creative!
These are stunning images. I love the variety of light you use. I am assuming most of it is natural and what was already in the room, or did you bring a strobe with you? Also, what are your lens of choice for shooting portraits? And finally, is most of your post-production in lightroom? Thanks and fantastic pictures man!
Can I just be you please? Or just be mentored by you?
dang, Jeremy, this is killer work. Nailed it!
Wow. I love the artistic style you have and bring to each shoot. The darker tones sure look good here. A bit different from lots f wedding photos I see.. And that's good.
Dude these are amazing. I look up to you big freaking time. Everything you touch is gold, this wedding included. Great job and thanks for sharing!!!
Wow, these are gorgeous pictures Jeremy! Have you ever considered to be a wedding photographer? You could make some nice money with that ... :-) Kidding off course ...
One question, did you only use available light in these pictures or did you bring some lightning gear with you?
Paul van der Heyde I brought lighting gear with me... just one light though and a big octabank.

Amazing work ( as always ) !! I've shot in that location before.. isn't it AMAZING !! Great job !
Jeremy, What an incredible generous gift you have given our family to treasure!....your artistry is amazing & truly unique... using the light of the late afternoon sun, shadows, the old building, walls & leaded glass windows, T's old 1960's truck (how cool that my daughter drove off w/ her new husband in a vintage truck from the year her mama was born! :):). You captured absolutely exquisite memories of Travis & Claire's special day. May God bless you, your beautiful family & your future work/endeavors. Thank you so very much!!
jeremycowart Wow! Amazing! I've been playing with VSCO 03 and my results aren't even close to yours. I'd be happy to pay for a tutorial.
Not a wedding photographer pssssh.... You could photograph anything and make it look AMAZING!! These are stunning!

Haha, there's one here included. The groom and Dad standing together. Now just imagine the same setup for the rest of the family. :)
Maybe you should shoot weddings! These images are gorgeous! I really love the bridal portraits. What an amazing gift you've given your friends.
Beautiful pictures. You should do more of weddings :) I like the yellow tones you've given to the images.
Job well done Jeremy! Be careful posting awesome wedding photos like this, you will have people begging you to shoot their's! :)
Awesome! I bet they loved them. By the way, what lens did you use when taking the photo of the groom next to the pickup? It's my favourite photo.
Great shots. You captured the moments perfectly. You also have me wanting to try vsco. Great work, as usual
I knew T in school and I am so glad I got to see this! Thanks for posting Jeremy.
