So this week, I am heading out on a cross country road trip to shoot with my new favorite camera, the FUJIFILM X-Pro 1. I’ve been playing with it a ton and have been loving it. I’m amazed at the tones in the files and its performance in low-light settings. This week’s cross-country road trip will be the ultimate test though. What better way to test a new camera?! I’m super excited.
I also must say that I upgraded the firmware last week on the body and the lenses and it was instantly a whole new camera. It works so much smoother now and I can legitimately see this camera as an alternative option to the rest of the DSLR market. Many have asked me that on social media outlets and my answer is absolutely, you should consider this camera system. I still highly recommend giving it a test run first though (as I would recommend with ANY camera system.)
Btw, my good friend Zack Arias did a great review on it recently if you want to go ahead and read another opinion on it…
Wish me luck!
Jeremy, Will you have a dedicated hashtag during your trip? This sounds like a blast! I'm smell a coffee table book coming from your tour! Tell Shannon hello from Kelly and I. We hope you all are enjoying the west coast! :-) Cheers!
I took my Fuji X-Pro 1 to the yukon. I am loving this camera. I had the X100 but due to lots of problems I turned it back and got the X-Pro 1. The only thing I am missing is the high sync speed of the x100, besides that, the Fuji X-pro 1 is my to go camera for travel and portraits. Today I was shooting portraits using pocket wizards and my nikon flash with lastolite umbrella. the files are stunning. looking forward to your pics from your road trip
My fiancée wants to trade the DSLR for the x-pro 1! have a great trip dude! cant wait to see what you come back with.
