I’m excited to announce that this blog is about to be used much more frequently than it has in the past. Like most photographers I know, I don’t blog much. It’s hard. It takes too much time. I suck at writing. And it’s just another item to add to to-do list. So I’ve mostly avoided it. But that’s about to change.
I’m going to open up this blog to guest bloggers. I want these guest bloggers to be people with interesting projects to share or big ideas that they want to tell the world about. They don’t have to just be photographers. It can be anyone in any creative field. In my opinion, artists inspire artists. The medium doesn’t matter.
I once had an idea called “Help-Portrait.” And my friend Scott Kelby gave me his blog and platform to announce this idea to the masses. So now I want to pay it forward. I want to give YOU my platform. I love the idea of this blog being a place where people without platforms launch big ideas. Especially humanitarian ideas. How cool would that be if I could help you get your dream off the ground and help others? I literally can’t think of a better reason to have a blog platform.
That being said, bring it.
Shoot an email to email@example.com with the subject “Guest Blog Proposal.” Describe your project and idea as briefly as possible while still getting your point across. We won’t be accepting every single submission obviously but we’ll accept the ones that we think make sense for this format and this blog.
I look forward to hearing your ideas! This is going to be fun.
This is a great idea, Jeremy! Can't wait to see what the people come up with! -I may have to brainstorm a little on some things floating around in my head too!!
to who much is given, much is required. that being said its cool to see that you are helping others. keep it up.
That's awesome jeremy. I'm looking foward to see the power of this action. so many people have great projects and need that push. so great you are giving them this chance. bring it on people!
You seriously cease to amaze me. Seeing what you've created in seven years, I cant wait to see what you do with the next decade.
